We must fight for the children who need us. There are millions of children around the world who don’t have anyone to advocate for them. They are living in poverty stricken areas, have very little food, healthcare and educational support. They need us.
Each year there are over 120,000 unaccompanied children who cross the border from Mexico into America. These children are often forced across the border in groups, oftentimes without family or anyone they know. Life In Color has been here to advocate for those children, ensuring that they are cared for and receive a proper level of respect.
When a child doesn’t have the ability to fend for themselves they need someone to advocate for them and that’s exactly what Life In Color does.
LIC makes sure that children have access to early learning and educational materials, proper health care, food, water and mental health options.
In areas where conflict and war are present, LIC works tirelessly to make sure that children are placed in safe areas and have access to life’s necessities such as clothing, food, clean water and more.
Over the last decade we have helped support various bills in the United States in order ensure that every child in the U.S. has access to a proper education – no matter the age.
Child Suffering Should Not Be A Result Of War and Conflict
Children often suffer the most in war zones like Ukraine, Afghanistan and Syria. When wars and conflict rage on, children are often displaced and left without family, shelter, food and clean water. Life In Color is on the front lines and always here to help with a humanitarian crisis.
It’s so important, more so than ever before, to help children in these conflicted areas. When a child is displaced, they are essentially alone in the world. This opens up the doors for bad things to happen. Kidnapping, child sex trafficking, hunger and illness are all very real scenarios that children in conflicted areas face.
