There are so many ways to help children in need and it doesn’t have to be an over the top or expensive gesture.
A case of water, a basket of fresh vegetables, clothing or even a blanket and pillow can make a major difference in a child’s life.
Imagine a small school in a poverty stricken area of Africa receiving school supplies like pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks and new learning materials. Just think about the impact that that one tiny gesture would have on not only the children attending the school, but their future, their families and the community in which they live.
Life In Color doesn’t have to imagine what it would be like, because over the last decade we have been able to offer school supplies like we mentioned above to children and communities that have been in desperate need. We have seen first hand the incredible impact that just one tiny gesture can do for children and their community. It’s amazing. It’s impactful and it’s very much needed.
While a new set of pencils and a new notebook may not seem like a lot to many, it means the world to those who don’t have anything.
LIC offers a very simple way to donate and help support children in need. Simply click our DONATE link, choose the amount you would like to donate, fill out a simple form with your information and that’s it. Your donation will immediately go to helping children in need.
In addition to helping the LIC foundation succeed in our mission to help children in need succeed, you can do various things on your own too! Every little bit helps.
You can advocate for children, share critical issues on social media, speak up about the seriousness of poverty, hunger and other serious issues that millions of children face.
Volunteering is also a great option. Volunteer locally or globally! It doesn’t matter where you are located in the world, there are always children in need.
Fundraising is also another great alternative. Life In Color often receives donations from private fundraising events. Choose an issue that you are passionate about and use social media, your voice, local news and more to get the word out about your fundraiser.
